About us

Streametics is a California-based Corporation with head quarters in Santa Clara in Silicon Valley. The founding team has over twenty five years of combined experience in the design, development, sales, and marketing of successful enterprise software products. Streametics’ advisors consist of current or recently retired senior executives with extensive experience in various industries, serial entrepreneurs and investors. Our contract development and support facilities are located in Bangalore and Ahmedabad in India.

Streametics is a recipient of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grant Award (#0637624, 2007) from the National Science Foundation (NSF). This award was given to carry out the proposed innovations in the Streametics Engine. Streametics has several patent pending innovations in the area of brand protection.

Founding Team

Sanjay Dalal

Sanjay Dalal, co-founder of Streametics is responsible for technology vision and development at Streametics. He has over fourteen years of experience in the design, development and deployment of innovative enterprise distributed systems. Previously, he was at BEA Systems where his roles included senior architect, engineering manager, and developer. He is inventor of several patents and pending patents in the areas of enterprise software and brand protection. Sanjay is also a co-author of the OASIS Business Transaction Protocol and has contributed to Web Services Coordination/Transactions specifications. Sanjay has a BE EC from MSU Baroda, India and he has taken professional courses in transaction processing, security and networking from Stanford University and UC Berkeley.

Sharad Thankappan

Sharad Thankappan, co-founder of Streametics is responsible for business development and product management. He has over fourteen years of experience in the development, sales, and marketing of enterprise software products. Recently he was Vice President, Business Development at Pertinence, a venture backed European software firm that delivers manufacturing optimization solutions. At Pertinence, he was responsible for raising capital, setting up US operations,  developing a multi-million dollar sales pipeline, and establishing  Pertinence’s
presence in the pharmaceutical market. Prior to this, he was Senior Product Manager at Siebel Systems. Sharad has an MBA from Harvard and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University.
